We have been retained by a specialist manufacturer to source a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for their site in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a manufacturer who is currently expanding and investing. A very well-established organisation with a long serving and stable work force, they now need to add to Maintenance team. Our client is a specialist manufacturer of key components to the automotive and engineering sectors and now require a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to support the growth of the business. Reporting to the Manufacturing Director You will be responsible for: Ensure all planned mechanical and electrical maintenance is completed on time and in full Maintaining a variety of Production machinery/equipment Attending breakdowns to resolve issues quickly and effectively Maintain automated machinery · Maintaining equipment/technology of a varying age and complexity · Identifying long term corrective actions on breakdowns to negate recurrence · Perform consistent analysis of all equipment to ensure improvement in performance · Implementing TPM performance, driving an improvement culture in all areas You will be a time served Multiskilled Maintenance engineer who has gained experience ideally within an injection moulding, CNC, heavy engineering or foundry environment. You will be experienced in dealing with heavy engineering equipment, you will ideally have experience of reactive and preventative maintenance and you will be structured in your approach. You will be down to earth and conscientious in your approach.
