Planning and Inventory Control Manager - Manufacturing - Bognor Regis - Permanent - £30,000 - £40,000 P/A ARM are looking for a Planning and Inventory Control Manager to join an interesting Electronics Manufacturing Company on the Isle of Wight. Your purpose: In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the sales, inventory and operations planning process ensuring that material and capacity constraints are carefully managed and any risks mitigated. What you’ll be doing day-to-day: Manage the planning and stores teams (holidays, 1:2:1 reviews and setting objectives). Drive the sales, inventory and operations planning process. Manage the inventory counting process, including monthly reporting. Driving down overall inventory levels and increasing stock turns. Liaising with engineering, suppliers and other departments when necessary. Your skills: Managing planning parameters in ERP systems. Implementation of continuous improvement methods. Team player. Must have good communication skills and able to liaise with various internal departments and with suppliers. Computer literate, proficient with a wide range of software packages.
