Overview
We have exciting opportunities for staff who are nurse qualified (RMN) to join my client a highly reputable employer, who specialise in residential care for people with mental health needs The Position: The roles will be to facilitate, manage and direct the delivery of all aspects of care to service users within a residential setting. There are many duties involved in the roles including: Dispensing medication to people who use our service as per medical notes and clinical guidelines To provide a homely & safe environment that meets patient's individual needs and facilitates integration with the local community. To provide clinical input, guidance, support and practical advice for the promotion of self-help/personal skills, domestic skills, socialisation, self-realisation and emotional awareness. To have a working knowledge of the Care Quality Commission and patients with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Health and Safety - ensure policy and guidelines are carried out at all times. Providing written reports to professionals and other organisations Completing clinical audits weekly or monthly as required The Person: The successful candidates will be qualified nurses with a valid NMC Pin (or due to qualify) Experience of working with patients with mental health concerns and learning disabilities Possess understanding of recovery models/approaches and a good understanding of mental health issues and the way in which they are managed (including knowledge of the mental health act, mental capacity act and care program approach).
