An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Service Desk Consultant to join our team at Travelers based in Redhill. This role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, hours of support are 8am to 6pm, covered on alternate weekly shifts of 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm and 10am - 6pm. You will be responsible for providing first line support for all incidents and requests logged by users and you’ll be acting as a point of contact for all users of IT, this may involve fixing a technical fault, fulfilling a service request or answering a query. You will; Provide 1st line technical support for Travelers Europe internal and external customers. Escalate incidents where necessary and issue incident management communication. Administration duties for Active Directory, iSeries and Insure90. Provisioning/de-provisioning of systems access for new hires, transfers and leavers. Other tasks will include ownership of calls logged & relationships with key business areas, identification of problems from repeat incidents and internal escalation, contributing to the development and maintenance of scripts with the Service Management tool, and playing an active role in mentoring, coaching and developing other Service Desk analysts. You’ll have; Any previous experience of working in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Candidates with a background in customer services and are looking to increase their knowledge in this area will also be considered. You will need to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, be organised and proactive. You will have the ability to solve problems, work in a team and communicate effectively. A keen interest in IT Technology would also be beneficial.
