East Surrey Theatres has a total of 18 recovery bays and 10 operating theatres including CEPOD and a trauma unit that is part of the South West London and Surrey Trauma Network. We are seeking Theatre Practitioners to join our supportive, caring and friendly team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience, but we are also happy to consider applicants with passion and enthusiasm to deliver excellent care. This includes applications from newly qualified staff or those about to complete their training and wish to make theatres their career shall be considered. We will welcome and consider applications for all aspects of Theatres. You will be supported to develop your confidence in all specialities and will have the opportunity to expand your skills. We encourage rotation through all specialities, anaesthetic, scrub and recovery; which will be dependent on your individual skills. Your personal and career development is important to us, and you will be supported by Senior Staff and our dedicated Professional Development Team. We have numerous In-house training opportunities as well as supporting individuals through formal educational modules and courses including anaesthetic practice. The service we provide is 24/7 therefore the post holder will be part of shift rotation, night duty and an on-call commitment. The Trust supports Flexible Working.
