Overview
I am currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner in a large international business based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step and develop their skills as you will work closely with the management team and advise the board. You will be joining a fast growing Business Services Finance team in Cardiff, reporting to the UK Finance Lead. This is a highly commercial role working with all levels of management to Executive Level. The role will provide decision support, analysing financial data and producing financial reports to drive profitable business growth. The role will be critical in analysing revenue performance, providing weekly and monthly forecasts and insight in to variance analysis. Review expenditure performance with Senior Management across all functions and compile budgets and forecasts. Ability to influence and challenge will be critical to this role, as will detail focus ensuring maximising profitability. Analysis is pivotal to this role using the tools for evaluating performance, provide insight supporting decisions, analyse Sales performance feeding in to revenue analysis. Able to analyse complex data sets from financial and Sales systems to prepare financial reports for regular management review. The role will be a key liaison between the business and central Finance and Accounting teams in the UK and worldwide, especially for month end close support, review of statutory financial accounts and reporting meet requirements for tax accounting and internal audit/compliance. Provide support on improving business and financial process ensuring processes are effective, reporting outputs are developed / redesigned to drive effective MI while the business is growing and developing. You will need to be Finalist/qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or experienced finance business partner. Highly numerate and excellent attention to detail Worked in multi-functional commercial Team. Advanced Excel skills A proactive influencer, problem solver to drive problem resolution Ability to simply and effectively communicate complex financial data to a non-financial audience.
