Software Engineer in Test | Nottingham | Backend | Java | Rest Assured | Agile | AWS | Docker £40,000 - £47,000 Method Resourcing have partnered with a leading financial service's organisation who're scaling their quality engineering practice. You will help push their journey into the public cloud, deal with problems at scale and tackle security and performance issues as well as increase quality through every stage of the SDLC as they adopt the "shift left" approach to testing. The successful Software Engineer in Test will have the following experience: Comes from a quality engineering background with the ability to write code in any language or comes from a developer background with an appreciation for quality Has strong working practices of Agile Encourages cross functional, collaborative ways of working by adopting code review, pair programming, 3 Amigo's, refinement sessions Improves CI/CD process by running the tests after each deployment Working closely with the product owners and developers to identify edge cases and error scenarios for the new features. Investigates current performance of the app and feedback this information back to the teams Has experience working with open source automaton tools, you will use the following Rest Assured, Java API's, Gatling, Scala, Python, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes Other stuff that they like Attends/organizes QA meet ups. Takes course/learns in their spare time inside/outside of work.
