Overview
Nexgen Locum is recruiting experienced and dedicated Registered Children's Nurses to work for one of the largest NHS Clusters in the UK. Our client covers Bristol, North Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare and Bath. We work with each of the hospital wards for RCN's and currently have an influx of work within the Paediatric wards, Children's Emergency Department, NICU, General and Burns among others. Full and part-time hours with block-bookings THE ROLE: As part of your role as an RCN on one of the many wards, you will be expected to care for and monitor the condition of children who are sometimes critical. Among your duties, you will also be responsible for administering medication, assessing children in time-sensitive situations, documenting the medical history and most importantly, communicating effectively with them. In addition, you will also require the following skills. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of life in a Registered Children's Nurse environment is a must, as are first-rate assessment skills. Experience in both Private and Public healthcare backgrounds are considered.
