Overview

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Desktop Support Analyst on behalf of an International Law firm The Senior Desktop Support Analyst role requires omeone with a diverse technical skill set - you will have experience of SCCM, PowerShell, VBScript etc but as the role has so many projects knowledge across Server, infrastructure, emerging technologies and project experience are ideal. The candidate will most likely come from a small to medium sized firm whereby they have to do more than pure desktop analysis/deployment. The role is like the glue of the whole firm, so absolutely anything and everything that will make the firm work better and smoother. The role sits above the 1st and 2nd line team and this role will provide them with an escalation, however this role which is a Senior only gets involved in BAU when the junior team members are struggling, this role is 90% projects and forward thinking. This team own all the desktop builds, deployments etc but as an additional they also own new technologies the firm want to implement (as an example they recently rolled out a unified communication project - zoom) it could be a new application, problematic upgrades, etc etc. Once allocated a project you are then allowed to investigate the new technology with a view to putting together the best approach, configuration and build along with ensuring there is a plan in place which provides the least business disruption as possible. KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SENIOR SUPPORT ANALYST Proven work experience within 2nd/3rd support. Hands on and proven work experience in remote access technologies such as Citrix XenApp, XenMobile, Direct Access and a good understanding of Citrix Netscaler. Hands-on experience with Windows OS environments and Active Directory (including Group Policy). Hands on and proven work experience in end point security. Hands on and proven work experience in Windows and application deployment using SCCM.
