Overview
MySQL Database Analyst Permanent Goole Salary up to £45000 plus benefits. I am representing a reputable business in the online retail industry. A MySQL Database Analyst is required to form part of our growing and highly skilled technology team to provide administration, support and strategic guidance on the company's MySQL databases. Responsibilities: Deploying DDL changes for new features to staging and production environments Optimising any slow and inefficient queries Reviewing and suggesting DDL for new features Advising development teams on possible implementations for new features at the planning stage Configuring developer and Data Analyst access to the data warehouse and production environment for production reports Following a continuous improvement goal to keep all database systems as up to date as possible through researching changes in new versions. Regularly auditing instance usage Following a Change Approval Board approval process. Requirements Oracle Certified Professional (MySQL 5.7 Database Administrator) or equivalent Ability to optimise and suggest alternatives to MySQL queries Ability to manage own workloads and priorities well Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders, maintaining a professional "can do" approach This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business who will provide an excellent platform for you to grow as an individual but also progress through the ranks.
