Overview
Maintenance Engineer Eden Scott's client is a highly successful, expanding food manufacturer based in Aberdeenshire. Due to continued growth and an exciting factory expansion, opportunities have now become available for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join the team. The Role The role would involve a mixture of Electrical and Mechanical routine checking of equipment, quality inspections and troubleshooting on the production lines and process, working to minimise factory downtime. Types of equipment include: High-speed, PLC-controlled plant, handling and packaging equipment, also pneumatic and hydraulic control systems. Ensuring PPM schedules are maintained Fault finding Installation of new equipment Maintaining adequate levels of spare parts, materials and other equipment Reactive maintenance Be involved with all electrical & mechanical maintenance Ideal candidate Relevant multi skilled engineering experience preferably within a food/drink manufacturer (other manufacturing may be considered) Recognised Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC/HND) Mechanical OR Electrical bias with relevant IEE wiring qualification (17th Edition minimum) Team player with excellent communication skills PLC knowledge including fault finding would be advantageous.
