Managament Accountant - Media Company Immediate Start London 6 Month Contract (Potential To Be Extended) A wonderful innovative marketing & advertising company is looking for a Management Accountant to start ASAP for an original 6 month contract that incorporates a real diverse and exciting role. Working with a variety of brands that range in size this company is well respected. The ideal person will have been in a similar role previous and be fully qualified. You will be available immediately. Main Tasks and Responsibilities To arrange management accounts for some of the smaller/newer entities, working to fixed deadlines To investigate and narrate on accounting issues identified during the preparation of the management accounts Attending meetings with senior stakeholders Support the SMA with the larger entities Ensure that selected balance reconciliations are completed/reviewed to agreed deadlines Month-end closing Reporting to support with the commercials for each entity Statutory Reporting Identify and implement improvements to processes and controls Assist and cover for the other Management Accountant Person Specification Experience with full management accounts Experience with investigating and reporting Experience of dealing with Senior Stakeholders Experience with analysing and improving processes Fully qualified Experience in a similar role in the media industry Good team player but with the willingness to take the necessary initiative to get the job done A sense of initiative and willingness to take on responsibility Proven organisational skills and good attention to detail Ability to work on your own with minimal supervision
