Facilities Assistant job Leeds City Centre contract to December 2020 Your new company This is an established public sector organisation with over 2500 people working in several offices dotted across Leeds City Centre. Your new role You will be providing support the front of house service in the office, signing people into the building, carrying out practice fire evacuations, managing contractors undertaking work in the building, ensuring best practice is followed to maintain a safe working environment and communicate with internal stakeholders. You will be managing the general upkeep of the building, working with the PPM contractor to arrange works. This is a contract position running to December 2020. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience working in an office supporting the front of house and liaising with contractors. You will be able to communicate with people from a variety of professions keeping them updated about works and updates. You will be good with IT systems, ideally with some experience using a CAFM system. You will have an awareness of health and safety to enable you to maintain a safe working environment. What you'll get in return You will receive an hourly rate with the potential to earn time and a half for extra hours worked. You will also be supported to broaden your skill set and undertake further development.
