Senior Lift Engineer
Overview
Senior Lift Engineer required in London paying £24-£26 per hour. Your new company You will be working for a renowned London Borough which sits north of the river. The areas that make up this Borough sit across travel zones 1-3. The Borough has a number of well-known landmarks within it and you will be joining their superb client side Lift Engineering team. Your new role The Senior Lift Engineers primary function is to ensure all lifts serving the Boroughs housing association are adequately maintained by developing and following a rolling cyclical programme including the replacement of lift cars when life expired/beyond economic repair. The Senior Lift Engineer will establish and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. You will ensure an integrated customer focused service to residents of the housing association and other users of the service. What you'll need to succeed An NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in building services or suitably related subject experience in designing and maintaining lifts. This role will require you to obtain a basic satisfactory clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Ability to prepare programmes of work and project manage, to plan and deliver projects on time and within budget and fees, monitoring and controlling costs at all stages. Ability to write technical reports. Excellent technical knowledge and experience to be able to accurate prepare refurbishment and maintenance specifications for passenger lifts.
