Your new role My client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work in South Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of new budgets, monthly site valuations, preparation of labour targets and sub-contractor procurement on a range of sites across the region. What you'll need to succeed An HNC or above will be ideal but not essential. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry and possess qualifications relevant and appropriate for the role. Experience in house building is essential. The position requires the successful candidate to be competent in Microsoft Word and Excel packages and be able to communicate effectively with both internal departments, Suppliers and Sub-Contractors. The candidate must be enthusiastic, be commercially aware and a hard-working individual who is willing to undertake all necessary training as well as being able to work on their own initiative and be a team player. What you'll get in return Circa £40,000 Benefits , 9-5 Monday-Friday, 23 days holiday that increases every year, this is Bank holidays.
