National Sales Manager – Plumbers Merchants Job Title: National Sales Manager – Plumbers Merchants Industry Sector: Wetrooms, Bathrooms, Shower Enclosures, Plumbers Merchants Area to be covered: National Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 Neg. up to 25% Bonus Benefits: Fully expensed Car & Full Benefits The role of the National Sales Manager Plumbers Merchants will involve: · Man Management of a field sales team of Six · Selling a manufactured range of bathrooms, showers & wetrooms into national plumbers merchants and buying groups · 60% of your time man management, 40% managing approx. 6 key accounts (e.g. Category teams at Wolseley, Saint Gobain, Travis Perkins, City Plumbing) · Revenue responsibility £8m · Inheriting an established team who have performed above market expectation/ on target with the budget · Opportunity only available due to incumbent Sales Director relinquishing some of their existing responsibilities · Advising field sales staff over the phone daily and attending a ride-along with each member of the team bi-monthly · Focus of this role will be on coaching and mentoring, taking a capable team and making it even more effective · Helping to launch and develop new products · Working closely with newly hired trade marketeer, who will support you 2 days a week with key accounts The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Bathroom, Showers & Wetrooms with: · Ideally with a proven track record of man managing a field sales team · Ideally with formal coaching/ training experience · Will also consider a Key Account Manager or National Account Manager that has worked at a senior level with plumbers merchants, looking to step up into a man management role · Must have sold into plumbers merchants · Understanding of customer insight, price points, value proposition, product sophistication etc. · Previous experience of having sold bathrooms, showers & wetrooms is not essential · Mentor/ leader · Coach/ team player · Great communicator · Resilient personality with genuine sales management ability · Professional and prepared with strong organisational and territory management skills The company: · Leading brand in showers, bathroom furniture and wetrooms · 100 UK employees · Circa £25 UK turnover For an immediate interview either click on the APPLY NOW button below or contact Paul, lee or Simon at Mitchell Maguire Ltd on 01625 527207 Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Plumbers Merchants, Buying Groups, Wetrooms, Bathrooms, Shower Enclosures, Taps, Basins, Showers, Towel Rails, Boilers, Plumbing, and all other bathroom industry associated materials
