Transport Administrator

You will be working with a great team and will be supporting them with a wide range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of their transport fleet. Description This is a busy role, and is going to be the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives on working in a busy and constantly challenging role. You will already have previous experience of working within a similar administration role within transport and logistics and understand the legal requirements for their drivers. Every day will be different, and surrounded by a welcoming and friendly team. Duties will include : Taking and processing orders onto the system Creating all paperwork including delivery notes Undertake 6 monthly driver license checks Book training for drivers including PDP & ADR Downloading vehicle units and following up on unaccounted mileage. Creating driver infringement reports Tachograph compliance Controlling allocation of stock Profile You will be an experienced Administrator with previous experience within a transport and logistics team, and looking for a business, team and culture where you will be supported to achieve your potential You will be fully aware of compliance, governance and legislation around HGV drivers. You will be a confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with a wide range of individuals both face to face and over the phone.
