Deputy Manager

TRAINEE DEPUTY SENIOR MANAGER YOUNG PEOPLE (0-25YR WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS) We require a Deputy Senior Manager For a a small children's charity who caters for children with additional needs. They look after children from birth all the way up to the age of 25, and offer afterschool clubs, holiday clubs and weekend clubs. Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours a week. This is a guide, but flexibility is required to cover holidays and sickness. TERM TIME Monday 11.30am - 7.30pm (Manager on Site after school session) Tuesday 9.00am - 5.00pm Wednesday 11.30am - 7.30pm (Manager on Site after school session) Thursday 11.30am - 7.30pm (Manager on Site after school session) Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm Sunday - To cover 1 Sunday Family Session per month from 9.00am to 1.30pm (4.5 hours off on a week day to allow for this on said week) HOLIDAY TIME - Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm Salary: £11.50 per hour £22425 per annum About the Role: This role requires at least a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Health & Social Care, as well as management experience in a childcare setting. Knowledge and understanding of children with additional needs is desirable as well as flexibility and commitment. Ofsted and DBS procedure experience is desirable. We are recruiting for a deputy services manager who will be supporting our two service managers. Ideally we are looking for someone with some experience with working with children, perhaps even with children with disabilities and special needs. They would also have to hold a Level 3 in Childcare or Health & Social Care. They will have experience in managing people (team leaders) and help with running the sessions.
