Overview

Trainee Screen Printer, Thirsk Starting salary £17,500 - £18,500 (depending upon experience). Due to growth, a business in the Thirsk area is looking to recruit a 'trainee screen printer’ To be considered you should have a print/production related background with a good eye for detail and be physically fit. Screen-printing experience is not essential as training will be provided. This would suit someone who has recently left school or college who is looking to start a career in print. Requirements Ability to work in a demanding environment to produce consistently high quality products within tight deadlines. Happy to stand throughout the day and physically able to operate large manual machinery and handle reasonably heavy goods. An enthusiastic fast learner with a desire to learn a trade and become a fully trained member of the team. Must be flexible in their approach to the role and willing to help out in other departments as and when required. Be prepared to go the extra mile at peak times and happy to work extra hours when required. Hours: 8-4pm Monday to Friday Overtime is paid at 1.5x Own car is essential due to their location
