Overview

We are currently recruiting for Steelworks Operators - with Profile Cutting and Oxy Burning experience (dressing slabs, Scarfing & Burning) for on-going temporary to permanent vacancies at British Steel in Scunthorpe. Applicants must have gained previous Heavy Industry experience and ideally of used Oxy-Propane burning equipment, however training will be provided. Experience of using hand tools is essential. Applicants must also have a full UK Driver's License, and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical examination. You will be working on a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift which includes days and nights, so a flexible approach to working hours is essential.
