ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES An excellent opportunity for a Trainee Oracle Support Analyst within our Oracle Fusion Support team. You will provide Oracle Functional support to meet the needs of users in the Ashfield group. You will provide day-to-day support, based on tickets logged to the team and understand key business drivers and priorities, and respond appropriately to queries and issues. Assist with queries and issues regarding the functional support of Oracle Fusion and related software Use Helpdesk software to monitor and update calls, dealing with calls in priority order Work with key end users to understand issues, suggest fixes and give support in implementing workarounds or fixes Develop a good understanding of financial business processes, and key business activities around financial processing Learn some basic technical skills in Oracle to allow better investigation and fixing of issues Follow change control processes and be part of approval process where needed Participate in testing during Quarterly Upgrades PREFERRED SKILLS Potential to develop technical and functional skills Strong customer service mentality General interest in and commitment to career in IT Self-starter with an enquiring mind and an ability to learn Collaborates effectively with team and not afraid to ask for help A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications A proactive approach towards meeting deadlines Organized, with the ability to multi-task ongoing projects A confident team player who can work using their own initiative This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89924914
