Overview
Permanent Quality Manager - Construction - Nottingham - Main Contractor - Up to £55k Package Your new company You will be working for a leading construction contractor who manufacture and build across multiple sectors. The organisation work within Education, Healthcare, Accommodation, Retail, Residential Leisure and Defence. Now seeking a permanent Quality Manager to join their team. Your new role You will be working within an experienced team that oversee the management of ISO 9001 accredited Quality Management System. You will ensure that compliance is to the correct standards and you will be the appointed representative for external compliance. This role will form a key part of the construction projects as you will need to liaise directly with Internal Design, Operational and Procurement resource. You will conduct risk assessments and complete non conformance documents and attend management review and quality meetings. You will strive to ensure that the organisation is able to continually improve its quality procedure, completing internal site audits and providing performance related information against KPI's. The role is extremely varied and will cover elements of almost all of the construction process. What you'll need to succeed Ideally you will have Quality Management experience in the construction sector. You will hold ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification or preferably, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing skills preferred.
