Overview
Alexander Lloyd are working with a leading global provider of insurance in their search for a Qualified CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Management Accountant. This is a broad and diverse position, with the main duties including, but not limited to; ·Produce and review budget assumption files prior to start of budgeting process ·Liaise with relevant departments to capture data for annual corporate budgeting and re forecasts ·Assist with preparation of Syndicate Business Forecast ·Review validation of budgets on relevant software ·Conduct relevant reviews to identify key movements, variances and recommendations for any adjustments ·Investigate and report on any queries arising from month end process ·Ensure internal reports are produced and reviewed on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis in line with relevant deadlines ··Work closely with relevant team members to deliver a suite of MI ·Conduct analysis on key business drivers ·Develop deep understanding of all underwriting aspects, reserving methodology and historical performance Ideal candidates will; ·Have a minimum of 3 years Insurance Accounting experience ·Be part/fully qualified with a recognisable Accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) ·Advanced Excel skills ·Strong financial modelling abilities In return, there is the opportunity to add a leading name to your CV, earn a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 alongside other great benefits.
