Albert’s are a stylish, contemporary & unique restaurant & bar group based in & around Manchester. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Didsbury, who can confidently deliver exceptional, 5-star service to our guests. What you'll be doing: Supervising and running the pass of the kitchen, and taking a hands on approach to the preparation and cooking of the food. Maintaining a consistently high level of food quality and ensuring company specifications are adhered to Organising and overseeing the work of the kitchen staff and delegating and sharing tasks Managing stocks of food with careful food rotation. Working to a wage budget and creating rota’s using our workforce management programme, which is Kelio. Careful ordering in order to maintain a GP of over 70%. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness is of course essential, and you will be expected to implement our existing health and hygiene procedures. Training and developing staff. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary creative flair alongside proven ability for all aspects of successful kitchen management. Evidence of managing a high volume, high pressure, fresh food kitchen is critical.
