Overview
Working for a thriving and dynamic business who deliver project management, installation and refurbishment services to the retail construction industry. Role Requirements: Provide design services for manufactured product as required Produce manufacturing drawings for production Act in a timely and organised fashion to ensure jobs aren't put at risk General duties to include: With others, produce manufacturing drawings in line with the development plan Provide manufacturing drawings for prototyping and production runs Identify suitable partners in the development of new products Provide a cost base around which the company can budget, forecast and quote Create manufacturing Bill of Materials Liaise with suppliers to ensure product is built to spec and any design issues are overcome at source Work with internal teams to ensure manufactured parts are available for assembly/shipment in line with project trackers Key Skills and Experience: A flair and passion for design Skilled in the use of 2D/3D CAD software (Solidworks experience is essential) Excellent communication skills Well organised and highly numerate Technical bias (Especially with metal, wood and plastics) Computer literate (esp.
