Overview
Senior Systems Administrator - Middleware - up to £38,000 Benefits - Newport My client is a market leading organisation based in Newport who have won multiple awards. They are currently recruiting for aSenior Systems Administrator - Middleware to join their IT Middleware team. The role involves supporting Microsoft VMware and IBM System iSeries environments with further support required around IBM WebSphere administration. Whilst the role is focused upon IBM iSeries and IBM WebSphere hosted on Linux, it is expected that the candidate will have general systems administration knowledge of other platforms to take an active role in supporting the wider environment and help automate manual system processes. You will be expected to have most, if not all of the following experience - Microsoft Windows Server Support IBM WebSphere exposure IBM HTTP Server exposure WebSphere MQ exposure Shell Scripting (Python, bash, Perl etc.) This is an exciting opportunity with an excellent benefits, training and bonus package.
