Payroll Officer - Gloucester, Gloucestershire - Global Technology Business - Up to £26,000 per annum Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and global Technology business based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire looking to recruit a dynamic and hands-on Payroll Officer. The Payroll Officer is responsible for supporting with the end to end payroll process for multiple countries and auditing the final payroll reports against available data sources, ensuring that this is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Your new role Your key duties will be to ensure payrolls are processed accurately and on time while adhering to corporate and departmental policies and procedures. You will prepare the payroll inputs, work as an assigned back up for payroll team members and run the EMEA payrolls in the absence of the other team members if necessary. You will process new starters, leavers and any changes into the payroll system in a timely manner, review and process employee absences, calculation of paid and/or unpaid leave. You will process statutory leave payments in line with specific countries and companies' policies, assist with sorting of pay slips, coordinate interfaces to and from self-service related to electronic pay, disburse funds withheld accurately along with administer, review and maintain up to date benefits information, and company pension schemes adhering to country legislation. You will be involved in various projects supporting the Payroll Manager and wider business. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this hands-on and exciting Payroll opportunity, you will need experience within a similar role, you will be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, key MS excel knowledge and have the ability to manage work-loads. You will be eager to progress in your payroll career and support others in the Payroll team and wider business. It would be advantageous but not essential if you are working towards a payroll qualification or equivalent, with experience in a Global business along with UK/European payrolls.
