Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our client who is looking for an Ingredients Technologist to join their team. Supplying major food and confectionery companies, your role would involve making bespoke blends and reviewing current recipes and specifications for current and new clients. Duties to include: Assessment of raw ingredients and sourcing alternative suppliers Quality checking of finished products Liaising with suppliers Requesting all technical information for raw products Stock ordering, ensuring raw ingredients pass quality check before production Liaising and presenting to customers new ideas Following instructions from concept to completion on bespoke requirements The ability to follow instruction, be organised and excellent communication is vital for success in this position. The ideal candidate would hold qualifications in Food Science/Technology, have a technical background with food science, experience of a lab environment and knowledge of the manufacturing process.
