Overview

Are you a qualified accountant? Do you have management accounting experience supporting key stakeholders in a business partnering capacity? This high-profile London based not for profit organisation is looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner/Management Accountant for this exciting permanent role, to ensure effective financial management of key directorates with the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, your daily’s duties will include: Responsible for production of monthly financial reporting information for budget holders, including providing commentary on key variances to budget, prior year and prior month Support the division in the preparation of budgets; review, analyse and challenge the individual managers and budget holders Ensure and complete an efficient month-end reporting processes to ensure that high-quality information is provided to budget holders in line with their requirements Support the continuous improvement of the divisions forecasting and budgeting process and performance Provide insightful analysis with commentary that will improve future performance Ensure the accuracy of the income and expenditure that will facilitate future decision-making and actions Responsible for other month end procedures across the directorate, such as the preparation of monthly recharge and accrual journals The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA qualified or a finalist studying towards their final exams. You must have significant management accounting, analysis and budgeting experience, partnering with budget holders and stakeholders to support their decision-making processes. Within this role you will be supporting the budget holders through the budgeting cycle and forecasting process; so, it is imperative that you have strong stakeholder management skills. You must have strong influencing skills whilst possessing first class written and verbal communication skills. For this exciting role, it is essential that you have excellent systems skills including being an advanced user of Excel, whilst a working knowledge of Agresso would provide a distinct advantage.
