Job Description: The Clinical Manager is required to Work under the direction of the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth running of the allocated Wings in the home. Plan, delegate, co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate care and services to ensure implementation and compliance with Cedar Care policies, procedures and systems, which are founded in the relevant regulations governing Cedar Care. NMC Codes of Conduct and Practice. Clinical governance and best practice. Key Performance Indicators Upholds and consistently improves the reputation of the home and Cedar Care. Remains informed and updated in current legislation, best practice and market trends in areas relevant to home. Assists in maximizing the income of the home. Manages the admission procedure. Reports to and communicates effectively with the Registered Manager as required. Manages change in the implementation of new policies and initiatives. Upholds the lifestyle, choices and decisions of Residents: Optimises the care and welfare outcomes of the Residents. Food preferences, nutritional and hydration needs of the Residents are met. Medication administration and processes are well managed Safeguards residents from abuse Maintains a clean, tidy and well-presented home at all times. Maintains safety of the home and premises. Manages the effective use of equipment and supplies Optimizes staff performance. Minimizes poor performance and / or conduct. Ensures the maintenance and storage of accurate and up to date records. Minimises the occurrence of adverse incidents, injuries and near misses Required Skills, Abilities and Experience: NMC registered with active PIN number without restrictions on practice; Ideally at least 2 years’ experience in the same role; Elderly /Dementia care is essential; Taking charge of the Clinical Team and the Home in absence of the Home Manager; The Benefits of Working with Cedar Care: Competitive Salary You will receive free Cedar Care induction; Refresher training with the opportunity for career progression.
