Overview

An extremely successful international law firm, with a fully dedicated office based in Central Bristol only a stone's throw from Temple Meads & on all major bus routes are looking for a resourcing specialist to join them on a 6 month fixed term contract. You will work within the People Team, helping the team to provide a proactive and forward thinking resourcing service to its internal clients. You will be working Monday - Friday, Full Time Hours 09.30 - 5.30 pm & receive a salary up to £50k depending on experience amazing benefits. You will lead the legal lateral hire programme in Bristol, working in the legal teams to define lateral hire priorities and execute the recruitment plan. You will manage an efficient and effective end to end recruitment process for lateral hires, from search to on boarding. This will include preparing job descriptions, agreeing the attraction and selection process in line with the Inclusion and Diversity strategy, draft and place advertisements (as appropriate) and utilise the preferred supplier agencies to their maximum potential as well as undertaking direct sourcing. You will act as a point of expertise on all recruitment related matters, providing advice and guidance to the relevant People Managers and partners. You will contribute to salary mapping for the legal teams, understand the Bristol legal markets and advise the firm on competitive remuneration offerings. The person: To be successful in the role you will have proven and extensive knowledge and experience of the legal Bristol recruitment market and experience of managing recruitment processes and direct sourcing. You will have client management experience and the ability to manage, consult and influence stakeholders. An understanding of HR processes (annual salary/bonus/performance review & headcount planning) and a robust working knowledge of the law affecting recruitment and selection (including knowledge of inclusion and diversity landscape). You will be able to develop strong relationships within the business at all levels, using technical expertise and show strong influencing skills, strong personal judgement, able to remain independent and adapt a common-sense approach, proactive and self-motivated yet collaborative in approach and strong communication skills both oral and written.
