Overview
The Opportunity - SourceCo are proud to represent our prestigious client based in Bromsgrove who are recruiting for additional Production Assemblers to join their team. Job Purpose - To perform assembly tasks that are necessary to the production process, aiding in the fabrication, maintenance and repair of component parts & products Hours of work – Monday to Thursday 8.05am – 4.45pm and Friday 7.50am – 4.30pm Pay rates - £8.21 to £8.72ph Start date - Immediate starts available Job type - Temporary ongoing work that may lead to permanent roles for the successful candidates after a 12-week trial period What does the role involve? Using a variety of hand & power tools to assemble and repair products The ability to read technical documents such as diagrams, schematics & blueprints Identify any defective items and handle accordingly to established procedures Soldering Working as part of a team to ensure daily team targets are achieved Keep a clean and tidy workspace at all times Minimum experience: Previous assembly experience (Essential) Exceptional attention to detail Excellent hand-eye coordination Ability to lift at least 15-20 Kg Basic soldering experience (Essential) Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time Must have good eyesight including depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to differentiate between colours Great communication skills Ability to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative How Do I Apply?
