Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced, Professional Buyer/Purchaser for a busy manufacturing company in Stourbridge The role will be to purchase items in a cost effective and timely manner for the mechanical engineering division. Other duties will include: All day to day buying and procurement for the division Purchasing direct and indirect materials Purchasing raw materials, consumables and services Working to tight deadlines and targets Purchase ledger management Report to the senior buyer The right candidate Experienced in purchasing/buying for mechanical or manufacturing environments Have some knowledge of Purchase ledger Qualified or accreditation level CIPS would be advantageous but not essential for the position Be flexible and have a strong can-do attitude along with being a team player In return, the company will offer: Permanent contract with a long standing successful company Salary range of £22,000 to £25,000 Working hours full time Monday to Friday
