Your new firm A highly regarded and prominent firm of Chartered Accountants with multiple offices across the Cheshire, North Wales & Shropshire region are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager / Senior Accountant to join their Northwich office. This opportunity has arisen due to new business wins and is a great opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking to progress their career. Your new role As a portfolio manager you will assist the director with the delivery of accounting services to a portfolio of clients. Predominantly dealing with well established owner managed businesses and SMEs you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and monthly management accounts alongside supervising and training junior staff. You will be at the forefront of the client relationship - dealing with client queries, offering ad hoc due diligence and management consultancy services. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has developed post qualified experience and has some experience of supervising or managing a portfolio. You must be confident liaising with both clients and your peers and also have good organisational skills. The firm are looking for commercially astute and ambitious accountants who are looking to progress their career.
