Overview
Knowledge, Experience & Skills: Essential Ø Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Telecoms industry including management of build programmes Ø Proven track record of performance within the Telecoms industry, including conventional & FTTP build methodologies and fibre optic networks Ø Management of Direct labour and/or Sub-Contractor personnel Ø Ability to understand, manage and deliver KPI’s Ø Ability to lead, motivate and manage a large diverse team Ø Ability to contribute technical knowlesge and experience to proposals and reports Ø Development of project plans including critical path and target milestones Ø Experience of project delivery with cost targets Ø Experience of project delivery within agreed quality & safety targets Ø Commercially focussed and aware Ø Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times Desirable Ø Experience and knowledge of the Openreach external network (to support PIA practices) Ø First Aid at Work Ø IOSH - Managing Safely General Ø Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary Ø Flexible to travel as necessary Ø Carry out such other duties as are consistent with the job-holder’s knowledge and skills and are necessary for the satisfactory completion of contracts or for attainment of the goals of the business.
