Overview
A new opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Building Surveyor within a Consultancy based in Maidstone where you will be fully supported through your APC in gaining MRICS status. This is a well-established building consultancy, projects are typically in the healthcare, residential, mixed use, commercial, leisure and education sectors. The role will offer you a variety of work in a wide range of Building Surveying duties such as Contract Administration, Condition Surveys, Technical Due Dilligence and Dilapidations, allowing you to complete your APC and become chartered. They are looking for a Building Surveyor that has ideally already commenced their Building Surveying journey to complement their already experienced team, although fresh graduates will also be considered. To be eligible for this role you must have an RICS accredited degree and ideally have experience working as a Building Surveyor. You must be self-motivated with a strong knowledge of Building Surveying activities. In addition to this you will need excellent attention to detail, excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and within a team. This role would suit a person that may not be currently getting the support in their APC and are looking for a more stable company with the expertise to develop you and qualify as a chartered surveyor. They may consider an exceptional fresh graduate with some previous experience – placement or industry relevant. The Client are also open to a candidate looking to transition into Surveying from other careers.
