Overview
We are currently running a really interesting project that looks at how Cambridge University Press should tailor their support to schools around the world that teach a variety of subjects in English. To do this, they want to carry out phone interviews with Omani, Qatari and Egyptian teachers and educators to find out more about their experiences. We are looking for a passionate, Arabic speaker (who can communicate with Egyptian and Gulf Arabic speakers) with great English to help us run this part of the study. Your job will be to: Find respondents online using the relevant Omani, Qatari and Egyptian search engines and then call them up and email them to invite them to a phone interview Conduct phone interviews in Arabic. Write detailed notes of your interviews in English. Regularly report what you've learnt in your interviews to the project team. The work will take place at our friendly office in Islington , North London. It will be around 27 – 35 days work across 5 to 6 weeks starting on the 23 rd of March, though flexibility will be required. The pay will be £15 per hour. Full training on how to interview will be given and full support available from our team throughout.
