Overview
Manufacturing Engineer - Lean - £35k - £38k & excellent bonus, BUPA (family cover), excellent pension, life assurance, 23 day holiday, Childcare vouchers & more - Cheshire Overview: So you're a Manufacturing / Process Improvement Engineer - a heavy hitting professional - who is working at a company, but feeling wasted. Feeling your ideas and techniques are falling on deaf ears and not being implemented. Maybe you have achieved all you can where you are and the company are regressing, not progressing… We are seeing this more and more and a lot of excellent talent being wasted in the manufacturing sector as a result. We can offer you an opportunity to come in to a company that really want to utilize your talent and join their manufacturing department, bring in your new ideas and look to improve their processes. They know their processes aren't perfect - whose are? - and they are constantly striving to improve them using both your commercial knowledge and your academic background. What are we looking for? We are looking for a manufacturing professional who has a tangible track record of CI and lean across manufacturing projects (whether that be Kaizen, Poka-yoke, Kanban, Six Sigma etc) with measurable results. A professional who tells us what to do, not the other way around. As a business, we are doing incredibly well across the UK, Europe and the world and want to bring in someone to carry on improvements and use your knowledge to improve all aspects of manufacturing. You will be well educated (HND, Degree etc - ideally mechanically) but a mentality of someone who is not fulfilling their potential and wants to come in to a company that will help you do so. Someone who wants that Six Sigma Black belt, to learn more techniques and be in an environment where you can grow as professional and use that knowledge to carry on improving yourself and us as a company The company and culture: These are a multinational company and world leaders in what they do / manufacture with sites all over the world. The product they manufacture go in to some of the world's most well-known and leading originations across the world, with real synergy with the automotive sector. Although they are worldwide, the UK part of the business looks after the European markets so it has the feel if a smaller company where you can really get things done, but with the financial backing and brand of a world leader - a very rare combination. They invest massively heavily in their staff and really believe in further education / further training as they see it will benefit both yourself and their manufacturing processes (which is rare these days). Next steps… So this sound like an opportunity and company that would interest you? Simply hit apply and we can go through this is much further detail…
