Overview
SEN Transport Lead/Manager - London SEND Travel - Home-to-School Transport - Passenger Transport 3-6 Month Contract - Inside of IR35 £450-500 per day I am currently working with a London based authority to appoint an experienced SEND Transport Assistance Manager for an interim period of 3-6 months. This is a time of transformation with the local authority and it is essential that they are able to rely on the consistent and streamlined service delivering imperative services to children and young people with special educational transport needs. At the heart of delivering the a concrete plan we will need the successful candidate to ensure the way we do things, is innovative and cost effective in order to drive performance. Overseeing the day-to-day runnings of an SEN and Home-to-School Transport service you will lead, manage and provide strategic direction to develop and deliver quality transport services centred around Education, Social and Public Transport. This is an fixed term contract for a period of approx 12 months. Requirement - Oversee the day to day function of the SEN Transport Team Increase the efficiency and consistency of service delivery Independent Travel Training implementation and development You must have worked in a similar role and have exemplary knowledge of SEN transport Direct line management responsibility for a medium sized team.
