Overview

Lead Developer- up to £85k We’re currently recruiting for a Java Lead Developer, the role will involve technical leadership, hands on programming and a certain degree of line management. This is working for a tech house who prides itself on building best in class Software Solutions for its clients. We’re looking for a passionate hand on technologist who will enjoy doing code reviews and being hands on but can also manage upwards. You will be managing a team of 12 Developers and reporting into the Head of Development. We want to speak to you if you fit into this category Working in an agile environment on user stories that deliver significant impact Building integrations and APIs that are rock-solid, secure, well-tested, and highly performant Continually improving code, systems, practices, and knowledge Working with databases to store data and process information securely and effectively If you have worked in a Java Spring environment this would be preferable In addition, this experience would be useful. The right individual will have a strong appreciation of Linux, common design patterns and be a practitioner of TDD. Knowledge of Core Java development in a low latency / real-time environment Experience of working in an agile environment and practising test-driven development Experience of working on a high throughput system This is a fantastic opportunity to join an incredibly smart and high performing team, working on low latency, mission-critical systems.
