Overview
One of our clients based in Manchester are experience an extreme spike in workload, so are looking for a Data Scientist/Consultant to manage large data sets in order to promote further growth and development Core responsibilities Key stakeholder management, advising on data trends and relevant business action Provide Data Science expertise to support various departments, e.g. product, content etc, to allow them to meet their goals. Use advanced statistical techniques and concepts on large data sets. Use advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics. Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets. Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize various business performance indicators. Required Skills Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Experience working with and creating data architectures. Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks. Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, as well as experience with applications. 5-7 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
