Overview

Client is based just on western outskirts of Bath so easily commutable from Bath , Keynsham , Bristol , Shepton Mallet,Trowbridge etc. These are initial 20 month Fixed term contract roles so to all intents and purposes a permanent position but a fixed end date to help them at this busy time. Extremely flexible working as well as competitive salaries depending on experience £29,000 to £39,000. Flexible on technical background , .NET a bonus PER SON SPEC Ideal • Degree • Experience of all aspects of the software development process including analysis, eliciting and documenting requirements& processes, design and implementation. • Clearly demonstrable ability to programme in an object orientated language. • Experience of developing systems, primarily using Microsoft stack technologies. Nice to have • Experience of developing solutions which help with change • Agile environment Skills & Knowledge: Ideal • Ability to design and develop solutions to agreed standards. • Knowledge of paradigms within the Microsoft stack technologies. • Experience of coaching more junior developers; • Able to communicate effectively . • Excellent problem-solving abilities • Ability to use technical knowledge, documentation and initiative to produce a practical solution. • Excellent inter-personal skills • Knowledge of development infrastructure tools for code management, development and deployment infrastructure (i.e. Source control, Continuous Integration, etc.) • Understanding of software development Modelling languages, such as UML. • Experience with databases and data access frameworks (i.e. SQL, Entity Framework) • Good knowledge of UX and interface design. • Knowledge of web standards and accessibility guidelines.
