Overview
Our client is a cutting edge fintech business based in central Reading who due to continued growth seek to hire a Finance Manager. The role is a brand new position reporting directly to the CEO. The Finance Manager will manage a team of 3 and take full ownership of the accounting function. The CEO is keen to find a strong ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant who can support him and improve the forecasting, budgeting and planning process to ultimately supply the business with better management information. Responsibilities will include: Management of the finance and credit control teams; Production of monthly management accounts; Quarterly VAT returns; Production of annual Financial Statements; Processing of commission and expense claims; Reconcile statements from suppliers; Cash-flow forecasting; Monitor, evaluate and forecast financial performance. Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis; Monitor all elements of the accounting system including ensuring all general ledger control accounts are fully reconciled; A salary of £55,000-£65,000 DOE is on offer plus benefits
