Overview

Management accountant - Renewable Energy Your new company I am currently working with a leading Energy company responsible for different assets in the UK taking renewable energy to society. The company is looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join their London team. Your new role Maintain monthly accounting working papers Prepare management accounts with variance analysis to the budget on a quarterly basis to report to the board Prepare annual statutory and regulatory accounts Assisting in preparing UK corporation tax return and corporation tax payments Liaising with other departments and Finance Controllers on finance and regulatory matters as required Being the main point of contact for each project`s lenders through the Global Agent Deal with ad-hoc issues as they may arise What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will be: ACA or ACCA Qualified Practise trained (any size) Good knowledge of IFRS Experience of financial modelling Experience of reporting management accounts Strong experience with consolidations Accurate, attention to detail and very motivated The ability to build effective relationships with colleagues What you'll get in return The new Management Accountant will join a business with approximately 15 people in the UK of which 5 are in the Finance team. You will have flexible working hours between 8:00 and 18:00 and 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays.
