Overview
Ignata Finance are working with an expanding global business located in East Croydon for the recruitment of a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the production of the management accounts, assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process and producing the board packs. This is a progressive opportunity which will suit either a part-qualified studier or a newly qualified accountant. Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following: Either a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) or studying towards becoming qualified. Experience of producing management accounts. Exposure to IFRS 102 would be an advantage. Experience of working for a plc or larger organisation. Key Responsibilities: Maintaining the fixed asset register and associated depreciation. Capital expenditure analysis including labour costs Responsible for the preparation of the fixed asset register. This will include: accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations. Support the Head of FP&A with the budgeting and forecasting process. Responsible for the preparation of the board packs. Preparation of the financial statements. Prepare accounts in accordance with IFRS 102. Prepare the international accounts. Maintain the intercompany transactions. Ensure the aged debt report is analysed and reported. Own the relationship with credit insurers (attending meetings). Assist with external audit. Maintain and improve existing internal controls. Assist with the implementation of a new reporting tool. Ad hoc project work. Assist with the training/mentoring of staff.
