Overview

Macildowie are actively seeking a full time Credit Controller on a permanent basis based just outside of Nottingham city centre. Working hours are 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday. Base salary is £21,000 The role is to chase any outstanding debt / payments. This is a business to business role, 95% of the debt collection will be to companies. It is vital that all customers and clients receive excellent customer service in order to grow and build relationships with new and existing customers. Will be working in a great team of X4 in Credit Control. Daily duties will involve: - Answering and making calls to new customers and clients. - Reviewing applications for credit. - Managing the debtors ledger - around 180 live accounts per controller. - Sending out regular statement runs to own customers. - Provide admin support when needed, downloading bank statements, portal invoicing, customer order checks and general admin duties. - Liaise with other disciplines and sectors within the business to keep them updated on any new projects or queries. Desired skills and experience: - Great customer service skills with a brilliant telephone manner. - Able to keep calm in a pressurised environment. - Keen eye for detail and proficient IT skills, able to adapt and learn new systems quickly. - You must have some experience in Credit Control, there will be an element of training on the systems but the base knowledge needs to be there.
