Overview
Sharp consultancy are delighted to be working with a market leading company within their industry, based in Doncaster. This company are looking for a strong technical financial accountant who are wanting to take the next step in their career. Ideally this candidate will be Part Qualified/Qualified accountant (QBE may be considered) and will have a strong background in the following: Statutory accounts Taxation and Treasury Calculation of monthly accruals and prepayments Preparation of balance sheet and variance analysis Dealing with capital expenditure, stock and inventory Data entry in journals on SAP Liaising with 3rd parties Maintenance of fixed assets Supporting both Finance and Business teams on project and issues Continuous Improvement Plans of business operations Assist with Internal and External Audits Ideally you will have; Part Qualified/ Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or QBE Advanced knowledge of SAP and Excel Experience of Group reporting in SAP Ability to build strong relationships with non-finance colleagues Proactive and analytical mind-set with an eye for detail Able to analyse information with problem solving abilities Ability to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines The successful candidate will enjoy real autonomy in this role and with great visibility for further progression.
