Overview
Sharp consultancy are happy to be working in partnership with one of the most established businesses within the manufacturing sector based in Doncaster. This impressive company are looking for a group accountant to join their strong team. This role requires a strong personality, reporting in to the Financial Controller, and will be poignant in driving forward the finance function whilst dealing with key issues. The key duties for this role include: Year end reporting Taxation Balance sheet analysis Strategic planning Pensions Budgeting and forecasting External reporting Ad Hoc work when required Ideally you will have: Accountancy qualification ( part qualified and qualified by experience may be considered) Strong communication skills Excellent technical knowledge Strong business partnering Previous experience with statutory accounts Commercial awareness Ability to work to tight deadlines For the successful candidate, the client is able to offer an excellent future career path in a large business and you will be fully supported with your studies if you are part qualified.
