12 Month Industrial Placement HAYS - £15,600 - £19,000/annum KPI Bonus Industry Leading Training Program Have you considered an internship as a recruiting expert at Hays? Our award-winning Industrial Placement program will give you a unique insight into the world of work and hands-on experience of life in business. Our 12-month placement will see you running your own desk, working alongside high performing consultants and interacting with both clients and candidates. You will be treated like every other employee that works for us, not just making teas and coffees. This will equip you with the skills you’ll need to succeed once you finish university, and many of our interns return to Hays after completing their studies. Your new role Reporting into a Team Leader, your role will involve interacting with potential clients and candidates, building relationships and matching people into roles. It’s a busy, fast-paced and high-volume environment and you’ll be responsible for sourcing top talent and providing support to the team. You will be screening a high volume of applicants whilst managing several different positions at any one time. How you’ll be successful There's not one typical person that makes a good Recruiter, and we welcome people with all sorts of degree backgrounds onto our Intern program. You’ll be passionate about Hays’ core values and want to hire exceptional talent for the clients you are representing. You will be very organised with exceptional time management and a strong attention to detail. Successful candidates will be Sales driven and results focused and possess an ambitious drive to succeed. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and will be professional and trustworthy with a positive attitude. Whilst being able to work well with people is essential, you will also be able to work independently and proactively. Recruitment is hard work and it takes time to achieve results, so resilience, persistence and determination is key.
