Server & Storage Delivery Engineer Leeds / Bradford Up to £40,000 car allowance Interaction IT have partnered with a leading managed service business in West Yorkshire. Due to continued year on year growth and business expansion, my client requires an experienced Server and Storage Delivery Engineer to manage their customers infrastructure, public cloud and virtualised systems. The Company One of the UKs fastest growing MSPs with an annual turnover in excess of £40m with anticipated growth of almost 20% for 2020. As a leading managed service business, my client operates across the private and public sector, deploying on-premise solutions to cloud / hybrid infrastructure deployments. Ideal Candidate With at least 2 years commercial experience, the successful candidate ideally will have had exposure to all the following technologies: · VMware ESX/vSphere Hyper-V virtualisation · Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 · Veeam Backup and Replication · Microsoft Azure virtualization and Office 365 · Public cloud - Azure / AWS The Role The Server & Storage Delivery Engineer is to provide technical excellence to my client during the delivery of projects and service escalation. Key Responsibilities You will be required to complete project delivery tasks such as installations, upgrades and migrations of server and storage solutions, by working closely with the PM team to ensure all deliverables are achieved to timescale You will deliver excellent customer service to all project stakeholders, with detailed, accurate written and verbal communication throughout Technical understanding in the following areas: Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 (MCSA/MCSE highly desirable) Exchange and/or Exchange Online Office 365 Public Cloud: Azure and AWS Virtualisation: Hyper-V and VMware ESXi/vSphere (VCP) Citrix: XenApp/XenDesktop/NetScaler (CCA/CCAA) Storage: Dell Compellent/EqualLogic/NetApp/Nimble Backup & DR: Veeam/Zerto HCI: VxRail/HyperFlex/SimpliVity/Nutanix Desirable skills to include: SQL SharePoint SCOM or SCCM Skype for Business/Microsoft Teams Cisco Routing/Switching/Security/Telephony (CCNA/CCNP) Meraki Wireless/Security (CMNA) KEMP Load Balancing Unix/Linux You will complete technical training and certifications as required, including MCSA, MCSE and /or VCP.
